In Britain, a wedge of lemon is the traditional partner for fish, and lemon juice with sugar is the classic topping for Pancake Day pancakes. In our Easy home Fish & Chips recipe, serve lemon wedges on the side so everyone can squeeze a little juice over the hot, crisp fish. If lemons are hard to find, a wedge of lime works well too.
