Lamb Mince: Our favourite ingredients to cook at home
Minced lamb is what separates a shepherd's pie from a cottage pie: shepherd's pie is lamb, cottage pie is beef. It has more fat and a deeper flavour than beef mince, so it carries a simple onion and carrot base without much help.
