Mayonnaise: Our favourite ingredients to cook at home
Mayonnaise is an emulsion of egg yolk, oil and vinegar. On its own it is a sandwich spread; stirred together with mustard, horseradish or chopped pickles it becomes a sauce in a few seconds.
