K U Thai premium topside is the Sunday favourite; A great value joint, boasting the deep flavour that make beef so special. Topside as a roasting joint is quite lean, so be sure not to let it dry out. While it can be sliced and braised, the Topside is also ideal for a traditional roast dinner centerpiece, served alongside roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and creamy horseradish sauce.
Storage: Keep frozen at -18°C or below

Cooking instructions (for a 1 kg joint) : Cooking times are a guide Times may vary.
Preheat: Set your oven to a high temperature, around 220°C (425°F).
Initial sear: Roast the joint for 20–30 minutes at this high temperature to form a crust.
Reduce heat: Lower the oven temperature to 160–180°C (325–350°F).
Roast to your liking: Continue cooking based on your desired doneness:
Rare: 40 minutes (internal temperature 52–55°C)
Medium: 1 hour, 5 minutes (internal temperature 65°C)
Well done: 1 hour, 20 minutes (internal temperature 75°C)
Baste: Consider basting the meat halfway through cooking to keep it moist.
Rest: Once cooked, transfer the beef to a cutting board, cover it loosely with foil, and let it rest for at least 15–20 minutes before carving. This allows the juices to redistribute, keeping the meat tender.
